USA: the number of nonpayments under credits grows
4 April 2008The number of delays under consumer credits payments in the USA has grown up to a maximum since 1992. Such application has been made by the American Bankers Association (ABA).
According to ABA increase of quantity of delays of payments at least for 30 days has been fixed in all eight categories of credits. The percent of delay has grown on 21 basic item in comparison with the third quarter - up to 2,65 % from the general number of credits.
The worst results have been fixed in sector of credits for cars’ purchase, where the number of delays has increased up to 1,9 % from 1,81 %.
ABA expects foresee the further growth of delays in the first quarter of 2008 because of steady increase of food stuffs and gas cost on a background of weak incomes’ growth.
