The American incident

3 March 2008

The situation when you don’t know whether to laugh or cry has happened in New York. 48-years old American is accused of theft of money which … was given to him by bank.

Benjamin Louwell, the seller from New York, has withdrawn from an account of his namesake 2 million dollars. The yesterday’s lucky beggar explains so large “success” by mistake of bank employees, who have confused him with other person - the worker of the organization which is engaged in real estate management. At that he insists, that he had made an attempt to explain to bank clerks, that he had never had five millions dollars at a bank account and then has just yielded to their assurances.

Now Louwell, who has spent a part of money, and another part has simply lost at unsuccessful subsequent investments, is accused of large theft of money resources. And he is hardly pleased with the fact, that he has used only two of “offered” five millions.
There are no comments from the very «bank-donator».
